Commscope is filled with managers who are great with corporate jargon but have zero knowledge about the subject matter and the nature of the work their employees are doing. The only reason these people are in the positions they're in is that they know all the new buzzwords and kiss the behinds of those above them. That's it. It pi---s me off that we do the work and they get the credit despite having no idea what or how it was done.

Agree with the previous 2 posts and this is very apparent especially at legacy Arris. Basically, super nerdy tech people who have no people skills and leadership qualities that are continuing to get promoted to manager/director/VP just because they can talk the jargon and kiss a-s. That's it. It's the employees under these people that end up suffering the most b/c there is no leadership, no coaching, no development opportunities, no empathy, no promotions, no nothing. Just expect to work all the time at all hours and keep China and India teams in line. That's it. It's amazing how much loyalty legacy Arris people continue to show with none given in return. Boggles my mind. The market is good; get it now before it isn't and all your left with is a cr---y severance.
Those types grow like weeds at Commscope. As people move on it will become apparent they are clueless and mgmt will start to feed on each other.
