Thread regarding Allscripts layoffs

Is Harris aware of what they are buying?

Harris CEO, Jeff Bender, added: “We have been watching and admiring the hospitals and large physician practices franchise for many years.
“We believe that we are the perfect forever home for the many talented employees and loyal customers that are the backbone of the franchise. We are excited to begin the next chapter in our Harris story, continuing to serve those who serve us in the communities where we live, by partnering with healthcare professionals to deliver care that improves lives.” (source: Digital Health)

I’ve read this many times and I think Harris isn’t aware of what they are buying. To me, this purchase sounds like a very bad business move.

#1 It is Constellation - no Consoltation
#2 It is Northwell - not North Board
#3 It is John - not Don

Consolation paid too much. Even the de-identified clinical data is not worth the ire of the remaining unhappy, frustrated customer. Wonder what CIO Don Bosco told the North Board about extending the contract. Meanwhile, Peanut Butter, Re--rd Putter, Lickin Kickin, Cold Faucet, Johnny Hermit made a ki----g with the stock grants.

What are they going to say? We like to buy companies with a contracted customer base and squeeze every cent out of those customers until the contracts expire and they go elsewhere and then cast aside the corpse of what we bought?

Private equity isn't beholden to stockholders so they don't care about growth. They care about cash flow and profitability.

See what happened to Toys-R-Us.

I don't think the Harris CEO could put out a statement saying " we continue with our history of buying companies with declining customer bases and revenues" on aisle 6 at Sam's Club !!!
