Kinda surprised normal people still work at Boeing. How do they look at themselves in mirror and rationalize it? I get how the callous greedy executives stay there to line their pockets but I would think normal people would have reached their negative karma limit long before now.

The only place for Boeing products is in a museum with a brass plaque to honor the past great individuals who created them and a plastic footnote plaque for the individuals who destroyed the company.

Forget Boeing. COMAC is selling C919s like hotcakes and keeping it on the hush hush. Not only is COMAC changing the airplane cost paradigm but the Chinese airlines will soon be doing the same with ticket cost. The times are a changing.

MMO = More Mo--ns Online (i.e. the Boeing PR employees who try to generate positive Boeing news spin and conceal the dismal reality and future of company future to raise stock price for executive bonuses).

Wonder when USAF will get their operational tankers, NASA will get their operational astronaut space capsules, and airlines will get certified 787 and 777X. Also wonder when we will see the next Boeing airplane accident because of their engineering and manufacturing incompetence.

But Boeing paid $130M in Saint Louis bonuses this week:

Seattle area got their bonuses last week.

Providing bonuses is now Boeing's only competency.

Yup, heard this was happening. Airbus will be getting USAF tanker too. Customers who can, are abandoning Boeing and rightly so. Only the airlines stuck with a Boeing fleet are hanging in to the bitter end.

https://www.key.aero/article/us-navy-selects-northrop-grumman-modernise-e-6b-fleet
03/08/22
Northrop Grumman announced on March 3 that it was recently awarded
The Integrated Modification and Maintenance Contract for the US Navy’s fleet
of Boeing E-6B Mercury airborne command and control aircraft, which the firm
will be responsible for sustaining and modernizing over the coming years.

It was a reasonably straightforward decision said a Pentagon spokes person
given the glaring ineptitude of Boeing in recent years.

While the Northrop Company added that,
it will “establish a consolidated production line for core modifications required
under the $111m contract,” adding that it may also absorb “additional, smaller
modifications and select depot maintenance tasks as required.”

Commenting on the contract, Mary Petryszyn – corporate vice president
and president of Defense Systems at Northrop Grumman – said:
“We are laser focused on providing the most relevant capabilities while
improving mission readiness.
As leaders in aircraft sustainment and modernization,
the US Navy’s E-6B Mercury fleet is another example of our strong partnership
with the Navy in achieving those goals.”
