@iwl+1fDDCSy3, looks like we didn't have long to wait for next Boeing accident! Wonder how long we will need to wait to hear how Boeing's corruption and incompetence led to loss of life this time. Boeing is the master of blowing smoke up your ar-e.

No one will stand up and do the right thing because they know as soon as you disagree with management you’re out the door at the next layoff.
I’m sure there were lots of people who thought only have an a single angle angle of attack probe on the 737 was a huge mistake. But everyone is afraid to speak up because they know anyone who disagrees openly will management will be laid off at the next round.
That’s what happens when you have a culture of layoffs and where management is always safe.
Management doesn’t go out and lay off the least contributing people they lay off usually the oldest people or the people who will openly criticize management for poor decisions. The very people you should be keeping.
Wonder how bad it will get if China gets sanctioned liked Russia and Boeing has to cease operations and deliveries there too? Maybe not too much of a change given that they can't currently deliver 737Max or 787 to China now. But maybe this will badly affect deliveries to other countries as much of Boeing product components are designed and built in both China and Russia. Can't imagine their 1st quarterly report for this year will be any better than their dismal reports for the past couple of years.
Same experience here, quality and safety takes back seat to cost and schedule. No one cares. Only wish I had an escape path like you. Pray for me.
Layoffs and end days are coming because quality and safety no longer exists at Boeing. When these subjects are raised at meetings, there is just a nuance discussion at best and anything that increases cost or schedule is quickly dismissed along with the person who raised the subject. There isn't anyone who will stand up and do the right thing for the right reasons. Stuff still gets hidden from regulators. There isn't anyone in charge who even understands most engineering subjects. Mostly just endless, frantic, panic meetings around budgets and schedules. Glad to be leaving.
Lots of Boeing and Russia oligarch cash kickbacks. IRS should look into it but they won't.
That's true. With a two party system, there is little choice of good people and little gets accomplished given the endless tribalism. So yes, we never had a good government. The last administration demonstrated the worthlessness of our Constitution and judicial system. And this demonstrated how easy it is for corruption to thrive in this environment:

It's amazing we have gotten this far as a country and society.
Boeing is the perfect sample of the current values and demise of US. 'They' let us vote for a short list of inept people that were selected by the elites (who represent the worst side of human values). That is not democracy.
Disgraceful! Not my words but my sentiments:
The only place for Boeing products is in a museum with a brass plaque to honor the past great individuals who created them and a plastic footnote plaque for the individuals who destroyed the company.
Forget Boeing and titanium. China has unlimited titanium supply and COMAC is selling C919s like hotcakes and keeping it on the hush hush. Not only is COMAC changing the airplane cost paradigm but the Chinese airlines will soon be doing the same with ticket cost. The times are a changing and lower cost and safer travel are coming to flying public. Same with Space. Thank you COMAC and SpaceX!
Why Boeing executives were not prosecuted for 737Max:

Great suggestion! Write "Boeing is Ki---r" in airport restrooms.
Yeah, heard this at SD meeting other day too. Boeing S&M is S&M these days.
Airbus gets their titanium from China. Word is China airlines will soon be canceling their 737Max orders and replacing them with C919s which will be certified in China before 737Maxs are certified to fly again there. Makes good sense as it gives COMAC more momentum and is similar to how Airbus took on Boeing and left them in dust. So did SpaceX. Other defense companies have always been way out front of Boeing and remain so.
Another successful SpaceX F9 Starlink satellite launch and 1st stage autonomous drone ship landing today. SpaceX launches every week now. Now 110 successful F9 1st stage landings. Go "American Broomsticks"! Go SpaceX!
Wonder when USAF will get their operational tankers, NASA will get their operational astronaut space capsules, and airlines will get certified 787 and 777X. Also wonder when we see the next Boeing airplane accident because of their engineering and manufacturing incompetence. Go Airbus and COMAC!
🪦
Once life is extinguished, you are left with a corрse
If you continue to hold on to that corрse,
you too, will be infected with maggots,
and aѕѕaulted by the fowl stench of decomposition.
Continue holding on, and your life will be extinguished too.
While you cry and rage in your grief for the loss of what was?
Unable to perceive your own demise unaware of your own decay.
Best to bury them and move on with your life, but will you?
Can You?

Things won't improve in US until companies like Boeing cease to exist and companies like SpaceX replace it.
Who cares ! Boeing is a giant clown show, a bad corporate version of the Gong Show. Umemployment would be a welcome change.
This is going to get worse. Much worse. Nobody should be clapping and cheering. We all will suffer, both sides. Prepare.
Boeing...the Chrysler company of commercial airplanes...
Pathetic
Yup, judging by the massive amount of down votes you can tell the Boeing propaganda machine is hard at work today like the Russia propaganda machine. Too bad Boeing doesn't work much else nearly as hard...and they don't plan very well either. Airbus and COMAC have plenty of titanium...and capable, hardworking people too.
Looks like the Boeing PR gang is hard at work today, but no one else at Boeing is...
Titanium will be the latest excuse for dismal Boeing project performance but the executives will keep getting huge bonuses.
Knowing Boeing, I am sure that the titanium sourced from Russia because it was the cheapest source. They could source it elsewhere, if Boeing had any ethics about who they do business with, but as anyone who has worked there knows they have few ethics.
The people who post on these pages are the same type of people who write notes in the bathroom or leave bad reviews on Yelp. The reality is the ones who are always scribbling away in the bathrooms or complaining on Yelp, it is the writer who has the underlying issue.
But Boeing paid $130M in Saint Louis bonuses today:

Seattle area got their bonuses last week.
