Another bonus for management

Marv's got another payout coming. Apparently its only for supervisors and above, since the serfs were not included in the email chain. God bless ya Marv and Small Hands!

Not sure why I am reading all of this right now except that I am merely curious how others are dealing with the stress and helplessness. I am compelled to make a point. Yes, this job is affecting my mental and physical health. Has been for a while now. It is way too much. I also believe I will soon be on the chopping block due to corporate restructuring. My point in writing this is, I have an AMAZING SM!!! ASMs are great and I am sorry others have not had this experience at Lowe’s. Granted, all is far from perfect but it comes from the top down. I am proud to have worked for this store for several years and honored to work for these people on the store level. This is retail people. Marvin has made some pretty egregious mistakes and it is more than disconcerting to watch it all unfold. Sadly, I have had 3 customers tell me this week alone that we have lost our edge and they simply can’t do business with Lowe’s any more. One was a coveted Pro. For all of the obvious reasons. A terrible shame. Very sad indeed.

Hey upnya..you cant handle that truth? Get over yourself. Everything last poster said was spot on. ASMs and SMs are not necessary, in fact they create unnecessary stress in the store. You want an entire topstock brought down and moved somewhere else? Do it yourself.
Most of you clowns cant even drive any power equipment. And why are all the kiss azz lazies always promoted to these positions? You people really don't deserve that bonus. The actual associates do..you know the ones who actually work their as--s off??

This is for (Upnya). You can say what you want but the store can operate without asms and even without sm. What will happen if the people on the sales floor don't show up? The asms and sm are clueless about what is sold in the stores or where the product is located. If can locate it they don't know any specs on any of it

You’re paid you’re worth, period. You want the pay and benefits of an ASM or SM then step up and get in position, if not then shut the fu-k up. Be part of the solution to everything you’re crying about cause currently you’re a large part of the problem.

Here's how you battle this. Stop working hard, in fact just stop working period. As long as you show up on time and not many call outs you can flip the script on these greedy as-----s. If you assigned a task, make repeated trips to bathroom, wander the store, ask lots of questions to slow down the work process, play stupid..do whatever it takes to grind their games to a halt. But just do bare minimum to keep your job. I've been at lowes long enough to know it takes alot to get fired here. Just play YOUR game..not theirs.

Frontline workers are clearly the key to Lowes' success, all while being seen as just an expense to Leadership. Mooresville senior management gives bonuses to mid level management for abusing, and pay cutting, frontline workers. Interesting concept.

They sent a retractment email to the department supervisors saying we weren’t suppose to get the email. It was an email telling Asm and store manager the date for their annual bonuses.

Lowe's Corporate should be flogged for sending out and email like that in error. Whoever made that mistake should lose their job. This is the kind of thing that makes an already toxic environment in the stores worse.

It isn’t an extra bonus, it was an email sent out about the bonus for salaried managers that they’re eligible for. It was mistakenly sent to multiple positions that don’t get it. Nothing extra for anyone, just the normal bonus.
