It does not surprise me that the Valassis plant in Florence, KY had closed. I retired and left there back in February, 2016. The working conditions there were horrible! Long hours, low pay, strenuous work with few breaks. No air conditioning in the summer. It literally was a “sweat shop!” It was the worst place I ever worked in my life!
