I am working for a small company and applying to the position of principle engineer in a core team in Qualcomm. Can anyone suggest the ball park of total compensation?

200K base plus (bonus+stock) worth 100k-150k
if inflation sticks around then i expect a big bump end of this year.

E5 at Meta makes more than Qualcomm VPs. Do not expect fairness at a company famous for politics.
Principle engineers at Qualcomm are almost always internally promoted.
Afaik, even vps at startups are offered max sr staff in qualcomm . I have only seen principal eng being promoted from within. You should be able to vheck the salary ranges in levels.fyi website.
Are the offering principal engineer to you? Or you are a principal engineer in your current company? Because if you are currently a principal engineer you won't be principal in QCOM. They have this habit to book you in one level lower. so you will probably enter as a senior staff
This is the OP. Qualcomm in the wireless industry is the equivalence of Google in SW. I am working for a small company. Qualcomm is a big upgrade for me.
You cannot be serious.....either you failed interviews in AAPL, AVGO, NVDA etc. or why would you come here at all? Our compensation (especially the RSU part) is massively lower than the other companies I mentioned. So either you do not care about money (it does not look like so given you are asking about that) or I do not understand why you are even contemplating that. I am myself contemplating joining one of the above because of money reason. And if you think work is more relaxed here....not anymore...so why not joining one of the above where sure you are going to work your sorry a-s off but the overall package is 2X what you would get here. Except if for some reason you really want to join QCOM and nobody else...but then why you care abt compensation at all.
