Nah, speedway people are happier being away from mpc
MPC won't increase the dividend until they complete their share buyback program. It's counter productive to the buyback program.
Pretty sad MPC can't find a more useful way to invest $14B though. Pretty clear management just looking to boost stock price to unsustainable levels so they can ride out on golden parachutes. 2022 will be a good time to own the stock, but watch out after. When management starts retiring, thats your sell signal. Pretty clear no one at the helm has a long term vision for this company.
