any stores closing off square footage for more fulfillment space is this the beginning of the end to become a dark store.

its strange in my store they are taking space from furniture. makes you wonder.
Yes our store is making more space back of house for the fulfillment team. How nice other departments have to squeeze into small spaces. They should just have there own building.
Hearing rumors but nothing solid at this time. I could see a few of the NJ stores going that way and you’re right probably Livingston. One of those sites should have added Backstage with the numerous discount shoppers who go there.
Livingston, NJ Macy's appears to headed down that path.
The focus of retail is online. Allocating more fulfillment space is a good idea.
