Thank you for sharing, Stan.

Companies don't invest in security until they are forced to (breach) and Citrix was no exception...SB warned the ELT many times of the vulnerabilities and they didn't want to invest. If you think the ELT was only negligent on product, engineering and sales strategy, you are sorely mistaken.
What could Stan do? ELT doesn’t care about security… that’s why the last ciso left and why they are ok with JK acting as one with his jr directors. Not a fan of SB but he also had no say.
...if you think Stan was not aware of the data breach before being notified by the feds then I have a bridge to sell you...
If he was aware, why did the company take such a huge reputation hit, and spend $Millions on lawsuits and compensation? He was a good talker but the results say it all unfortunately. The whole infra was wide wide open- whether it was IT or engineering.
Self promotion is all the rage now, you could stop complaining and watch and learn from her. I admire her because she gives me the confidence that anyone can do it.
"I heard she is very good at firing people, last year's layoff she asked Trenton to do all the layoff and then by the end of day she laid him off as well. lol"
Good.. The guy was a useless and who somehow figured out a way to survive at Citrix for over 20 years.... Oh right... By shmoozing...
The only thing he was good at was walking around campus in his jacket and tshirt, and man bag, bs'ing with people. He was a king at hiding out in the other buildings. He was about as useful as that guy JV we hired from Citi who also did nothing but talk.
I am glad the ax swung his way finally. It will be interesting to see how long he lasts at Modernizing Medicine.
I heard she is very good at firing people, last year's layoff she asked Trenton to do all the layoff and then by the end of day she laid him off as well. lol
"She was an upgrade to Stan, who had no clue as to what was going on."

She is the definition of fake it to you make it.
I will always advise anyone not to work for her--definitely poor leadership and ethics!
She deserves no credit on the security front, the increased security is largely down to CIS related initiatives owned and spearheaded by a JVR-led Eng+Sec org.
She was an upgrade to Stan, who had no clue as to what was going on. She brought real-world experience. Did she clean up the whole place and make it safer? Not clear. But, give credit where its due- the prior regime left the place so open that many of you received a check for the consequences of the breach. Since Meerah, the overall place seems much safer.
I think for the Florida crowd, she was too blunt. Anywhere else, she is/was mostly doing her job.
IT was already on its knees after years of brutal cuts and she came along kicked it to floor and rubbed its face in the mud. She and her buddies drove out some very capable and experienced people by forcing a rude and bullying culture into the organisation. I'd hate to know the number of combined years of staff experience that was lost under her leadership.
Loves the media attention, but someone really needs to tell her that SAFe does not stand for "Safe Agile Frameworks"!
peaceful protesters are blocking entire workflow for the company. Nothing to see here
