The manager sets unrealistic goals and I barely get the minimum done. I don't know how you manage to stay focused on work, but I can't constantly worry about whether I will end up on the layoff list and do my best at the same time. I think productivity is generally poor now, mostly because we work in this atmosphere of uncertainty.

You should be the next CSO, my dear.
Things have been going so well since five years ago. Complete turnaround.
If you fire people with more than five years of experience, then there won’t be anyone left that’s ever sold something to a new customer, onboarded them, delivered services, upsold them, kept them or innovated.

Well, at least they can spell, construct sentences and complete words.
I snense the glorious sleeping incompetence IC persona behind this post. Getting nothibg done - SM cut this deadwood soon and let's try to hire talent to give this biz a new life. Every one with more than 5yr at TD with very few exceptions should be let go.
