Thread regarding VMware layoffs

The most stressful workplace

VMware was without a doubt the most stressful workplace I have ever experienced. I was there for five years and in that time there was never a period in which I or anybody else around me didn't have to worry about having a job the next day. Only once I left I was able to realize that, yes, there are still companies that respect employees and what they bring to the table instead of just looking for ways to get rid of as many as possible. Do your mental health a favor and leave. It can't get worse, can it?

I completely agree look at India.
The more useless you are the top position you get then hire more useless people below you. the whole cycle is complete.
GSS India Management filled with ample of examples.
American Living in their own bubble.
the main issue is hiring process is a joke.
if referred by all high holding position there should be more scrutiny.
