I sometimes wonder what you guys are thinking, honestly. Boeing is too big and too important to fail in the way many of you Nostradamus-types are predicting. There will always be bailout money for companies like this one. Is it right? No. Will it continue to happen? Of course it is. So stop embarrassing yourself with these "predictions." Boeing is going nowhere.

Actually, I don't think Boeing will be broken up and sold off.
Let's face it, what is even left at Boeing that anyone would really want to buy? They already sold off much of their real estate, all their commercial/military/space products are obsolete and their workforce is either corrupt, incompetent, or both.
I think they will just go into bankruptcy, raid their pension funds and give the last of their executives great severance packages.
Have you ever thought thats ita thia hubris that has turned Boeing into the shitshow it has become? All things come to an end, Boeing will not last forever. But go ahead and keep believing the management hype. Might want to wipe the brown stuff off your nose while you are at it.
Remember when they all said MD was too big to fail? Forget history! Who needs it LOL
boeing ain’t goin nowhere! not in your lifetime at least lolololol
BDS is filled with some of the stupidest people in the history of the world, especially in Dallas.
Boeing would sell BDS in a heartbeat if they could find someone with the cash who would be interested.
The truth is they are minor player in the defense industry and the only companies who potential he could buy it Lockheed or Grumman? have no interest since they have won most of the major defense contracts not Boeing.
Since Boeing merged with McDonnell Douglas they have not won a large defense contract Except for the tanker which they initially lost and which they have done a terrible job managing. The McDonnell Douglas merger was a mistake the F15 and F18 lines are on the verge of ending production. No more foreign customers. No one is interested in those legacy programs.
Great place to work if you are one of inbreed executives stuffing your pockets. Frustrating place to work if you are competent and honest.
I work for this company, I have for many years. Great place to work and provide. I believe most the people who comment and especially the people who posts are not Boeing employees. Kinda other of if you think about it
Boeing got the bad 777X passenger version certification news a couple days before their recent quarterly report. I guess announcing freighter version and sales is how we push this issue down the road to allow time for more executive severance packages. Pushing issues down the road, no matter the cost in dollars or lives, has become our only core competency. God have mercy on our souls.
Boeing is a complete joke, no one will miss them or their junk products
US doesn't need Boeing for Defense or Space these days...US already has multiple way better companies. That just leaves commercial transport airplanes. I could easily see a new US startup becoming more successful than Boeing. It's not like Boeing has vast knowledge and experience in this anymore...more like deep seeded corruption and incompetence that would take a generation to eliminate. And Airbus already builds commercial transport airplanes in the US and COMAC is in talks to do same thing.
Corporate welfare
You're really comparing any of those to Boeing? C'mon. LOL!
mcdonald douglas airplanes,Saturn Corporation,Enron,American Motors Corporation,Hughes Aircraft Company, I guess these were too big and too important to fail or sold off ????......cheers ..... have another cup of Kool-aid
