I like the fact that someone has acknowledged this bitter truth - Qualcomm is no longer an innovative company even though some employees still don't realize it. The only question is what happened so innovation is no longer a priority here? Where has all the innovation gone?

Ok....most of the semiconductor companies are not innovative. It is a fact. Semi is now a commodity so there it goes the innovation. A lot depends where you are. In QCOM today opportunities are solely in the RFFE. Connectivity is just spinning the wheel for example (absolutely zero innovation). But also RFFE grew a lot in the last years and now the growth/innovation is obviously slowing down. The real problem is not the innovation. It will be more or less the same everywhere you go in the semi business with very few exceptions. The problem is the pay (mainly stock part) which is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy below the competitors.
This was clear when the takeover by Broadcom was halted solely by Trump.
Stopped being that long time ago.
