They asked if I liked an-l because I would be getting it a lot from corporate and management.

Not sure in what context that was asked, so I answered YES.
Did they ask you whether your degree certificate was from a dodgy university ?
I was asked if I was a vegan. Not sure it was relevant for fishing operations.
