Thread regarding Neiman Marcus Group layoffs

Embaressing

Just saw on Facebook Neiman Marcus sucks how CNN business actually featured our our corrupt CEO.. Hes now trying to claim they didnt need to go bankrupt but it was strategic.. what a joke.. i personally knew vendors cheated by them.. why do you think they are trying to get new lines in.. many went to Bloomingdales and Saks. Our stores and online are not a must as they wish to think..Meanwhile While he was paid ten million he is mocking those they stole from .. CNN being the awful network it is gave him a free pass . the reporter shouldve looked at their bankruptcy filing and actually questioned him. Not that you could get an honest answer.... Pathetic .. seen it all

When do any of the legacy media actually investigate rather than regurgitate information?

G-Man will not do any interviews without being sure what questions are coming and only after he guarantees what will not be coming from the person doing the interviewing.
It is a terrible time when the NY Post is the only news Organization and I say that loosely taking this greed machine on.
His board does not have a clue what he has done to this company, his employees can’t think of anything except how to leave as soon as they can.
His head of HR has a button on his Apple Watch that says nothing but anything you say GMan when it comes to directives whether it makes sense or not.
Neiman is burning internally and the board is handing him a full set of orchestra instruments to play while it burns.

Embarrassing. And no awareness of all the people that suffered from the bankruptcy.

Another soft interview - WWD and CNN have this to an art form. We know how this works - GVR agrees to meet as long as he knows the questions in advance. It’s an infomercial.

He always thinks he’s the smartest person in the room. Pandemic saved him. And made him filthy rich. What’s the expression - better to be lucky than good?

How can GVR look at himself every day? How can the board continue to back him? He’s made his millions - rather he got his millions. We need someone who is loyal to the brand and not himself.

The P/E owners the company was dumped on pull the strings in the end.. True.. Raemdonck could already walk away wealthy and never have to work again

NM’s bankruptcy was the result of private equity owners not wanting to throw more money into a sinking debt ridden business. They stripped off what ever assets they could then bankrupted the leftover carcass of debt and liabilities. Sadly vendors, retirees, bond holders were the biggest losers. Bankruptcy likely avoided a liquidation (like Barneys) and gave the company another chance to succeed. However it is spun in the media, a lot of people lost a lot of money because of the bankruptcy. A sad saga…

I saw their bankrupty filing they owed thousands of vendors.. All the way down to a 25 buck charge at kinkos... Raemdonck clearly doesnt know when to shut his mouth... Why would you boast you didnt need to go to bankruptcy..who does that?
