Thread regarding General Dynamics Corp. layoffs

The company is a disaster

The so called funnels are dried up and the financial reports coming out show RED in all areas for 2022. Red on cash flow, orders, sales, and prospects. The COVID response is to layoff people who are unvaccinated in January. The DPME class has no engineering ability so it is a sure thing that they will be axed as the work force shrinks. Age discrimination is rampant since the older folks dominate the population and most have no skills and subsist on corporate welfare from defense contracts that have dried up. Expect 5 to 10 percent attrition as 2022 opens up, peaking in April when many on going programs will end.

A good post from @Mano+1dL97mmE, bumped for visibility.

I doubt covid vaccines are the issue here. Word on the street is that CSRA/GDIT couldn’t deliver on DEVSECOPS on the CRM program for the Veterans Administration. Layoffs occurred on Friday, Jan 14 2022 The program is now a wash and operations and maintenance will merely maintain CRM. Couple that with CSRA/GDIT poor QASP ratings on government programs and this was a perfect storm for a disastrous outcome.
