It's interesting to me what those who hope that stores will be closed are writing. Is it possible that someone thinks they will be much better off if the company closes stores?

Yes please! The only good thing left that Verizon could offer me is a severance! Could care less about the quarterly bonus. Double it and give it to me monthly and I might be willing to stick around a few more months. In the spirit of Stanley from the office, take your bonus, drive down to Tallahassee and SHOVE IT UP YOUR BU-T!
Uh yeah bro. All shareholders think Verizon will be better off. Stores are money pits. Do you know how P&L works? Go read a business book dude.

Who wouldn't want a severance at this point. Competitors are hiring well above our starting hourly and also paying individual bonus/commission based on individual efforts. Also depending on your market have better, more and a wider scope of services and products that people actually want to buy and have need for. Not just cell phones, home warranties and credit cards.
