Why is Citrix full of bad managers who have no idea how to actually manage? If they're not outright abusive, they're passive-aggressive and try to ostracize team members behind their backs. This behavior is not only accepted, it's encouraged. No wonder people complain about toxic culture all the time.

I worked at Shitrix as a Director. I came in and tried to instill process and procedure, required my employees to document what they were doing, and held weekly team meetings to discuss team happenings and updates.
I daresay, as a director, this failure reflects on you as well.

Nobody wanted to do anything and I was not enabled by my manager to enforce anything.
Entitled turds.
There are too many managers who create busywork to justify their existence, and not enough people who are skilled enough to execute on the endless wish list.
Be the manager you want others to be. Enough b**ching about management being the root cause of evil. Only thing stopping you from being that amazing, ideal manager - is you.
You think managers mistreating employees is unique to Citrix? Got news for you, that's how it is in any large company. That's part of what the Great Resignation is about!
The managers talking about employees behind their backs and bullying employees is rampant at Citrix. The sad thing is that it’s been going on for years! This is not something you see at other companies in fact other companies fire these type of people.
