I'm not sure what happened here, but where once you could be certain that hard work would result in career advancement now it's no longer true. That leaves very few reasons to remain here instead of looking to move to a company where I could move my career forward. If you're wondering why so many people are leaving, that's one of the reasons.

Yes, Same thing for me. You did great BUT, new hires are lower grade levels doing same job so they get the elevated rankings. And yes they figure your retiring in a few years!!
Not sure they care, so just keep working hard a for the “Greater Good”
It seems that the older (more experienced) employees are no longer valued and favor is given to the new hires or younger employees. I was told by my supv that although I did a tremendous job, they decided to give the higher ratings (which means higher raises, higher vice percentages, Restricted Stock Units, etc.) to younger people because they figured I would retire soon anyway. I’ve been told this same thing year after year … I believe that is the definition of ageism!
Yea Pathetic
But leadership have big expenses with 4 homes. Unionize
it's not a merit increase - it's a COLA (cost of living increase) and it's not even keeping up with inflation.
It’s Truly getting sad. 3 to 4.5 merit increases in March, Wow after 24 months.
What an insult, would of been better not saying anything, because we wouldn’t have noticed it😂
Sell the corporate Jets, reduce executives million dollar bonuses, stock options and give everyone 10%
We should unionize.
More outsourcing on the way, may more layoffs coming in few weeks. And more resignations after bonus.
So True. The talented employees are leaving, but management is just quoting “the Great Resignation”
It all starts at how well your are treated and feel like your work is recognized.
My gut is telling me in March we will outsource even more jobs, only way to reduce cost as well as layoffs.
True, its incredible to see it happen and then to make matters worse the bullying supervisors get promoted.
Very true - actual work contributions are no longer recognized or valued. It's all about who you know and how much a$$ kissing you do that results in promotions.
About the same as the 1980's and 1990's. A new generation comes in and fill out the available positions and the organization becomes stagnant for many years. Review discussions in the last couple years are more about what community service did you do and what have you done beyond the job rather than what have you done at work. A lot of disgusted people. A lot of talented people leaving.
