Making people leave dept and stand at club to get off zero list.

For every club card opened the company makes 85.00 on every approval. They pay their workers a dollar for each. Need I say more. Club is not good customer service. Taking care of the customers and their needs is what customer service is!!!!’n
The lack of inventory is likely an attempt to get a good cr dit rating. It isn't t good right now
Face it they have become a credit card company that sells outdoor products. Cabelas people have known this for years. It is just now catching up to the BPS faithful. Our manager was let go because of our CLUB results even though our sales were good. I am beginning to think we are on the same path that Cabelas was on. Too much focus on credit instead of selling merch and caring for people.
Agreed. Question is why Johnny handed the Company over to such fools who were nearly bankrupt.
Club zero contest will lead to zero morale because of the ridiculous pressure the Managers put on the associates, including threats of poor annual evaluations. Only clueless Corporate pinheads, can come up with such childish schemes.
You INDEED work for Cabela's.
The failed company we bought to follow their model.
Think about that a moment
Don’t know what store your in. But the same goes for mine. Not to mention I feel like we work for Cabelas not Bass Pro
Turnover is extremely high. Departments are running thin.
Mgmt. seems to be happy with the skeleton crews.
Customer service is NOT a priority. Club cards and skimping on hours is the priority.
Worked as a Front End Greeter. While the push is over the top for credit cards, I always ask what brings them in today. Never have I heard, " I came in to apply for credit", as they do in most financial institutions. Should stop the constant hounding of associates and customers. Or change the company logo to say Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's brought to you by Capital One.
Meanwhile, theft goes rampant and we have jack for inventory.
