Can we make 2022 the end of the fake slack posts please? It is embarrassing already. Act like you have been there before. If you need a pat on the back everytime you ring something up and do your job then maybe you deserve a wake up call cause this safe space is instafake.

Most reps don't look at slack. They barely carry their concession phones. Posting is a fake game DMs and above play to "stay involved" yet they are so out of touch. Just like this GROW garbage. Fake trainings, fake calls, fake pronouns, fake posts, fake leadership, fake priorities and fake 5G. I can't ever see this company getting better. We work for a blue pill company that wants to be woke and also stay asleep. Becareful not to rock the boat and disrupt the echo chamber politics.
I couldn’t agree with this more. I don’t have time to grab my phone every time a rep sells something. Now I understand if it was an “outstanding” job they did but ringing a phone add is a little bit much. The reps like the recognition in house, some may want it out in the slack channel but I feel it’s reaching every time someone sells something. “Billy got a phone add!” Congrats Billy for doing your job.
Imagine if it was honest. "Billy the rep successfully tells the customer that the phone is out of stock, and deflects the order to online, preventing potential bad RIS and having money stolen from the team. Billy discovered that the customer was not buying accessories or adding insurance so he gracefully showed them the door"
Im an SM and barely post in slack, my DM probably questions my commitment, so be it…i could care less.
I refuse to “shout out” someone doing their job, you think McDonald's or Burger King shouts out their employees? “Jimmy with a Big Mac meal And discovers the customer wants an apple pie”
The only reason for shout outs is to pat the back of the DM….what a low life !!
The managers be shouting out sales like this is even a sales job anymore. Every time I see it I cringe. Like good job, someone scanned something. The funny part is when they be " rep discovers the need for a tablet" like wtf you talking about? They walked in for that. Also cringe they don't realize most sales pay nickels on the dollar? They will call out sales all month while sitting at 70% RIS. Being an SM now of days is just being a nob and a tool.

It's a litmus test for fake managers. I vote we eliminate slack in order to innovate our leadership.
