Sears is like great grandpa Max Flat on his back in a comma and has more wires and tubing sticking out of him then a 74 chevy. Just waiting for Dr.Eddie to pull the plug.
2022 will be Sears best year ever, stay tuned folks!!!

For myself though, I haven't survived the year being that there are still several days to go.
(Here's hoping for me but I don't really care about the other two anymore.)

Even a chicken whose head is cut off, survives for a while. That is Sears right now.
Incredible! There are a whopping 12 Kmarts left from a peak of 2486, according to Wikipedia. Put differently, that means 0.48% of Kmarts remain open (in other words, 99.52% of them have closed). Brilliant! What a success story!
*Of course, in any other field (be it sports, jobs, school exams, etc.), a 0.48% success rate would never be OK, but for Kmart, that is a success story!
- * It doesn't matter that 99.52% of the Kmarts closed.......that's called right-sizing.
- * Now they can focus on those megapolis stores in those cosmopolitan places like Hamilton Montana and Avenel New Jersey. Amazing story! Other companies can only strive to be successful like this.

Merry Christmas! Yes they survived! The juggernaut of 12 Kmarts, in such sprawling cities such as Hamilton Montana, and Bridgehampton NY, have survived, as have 18 randomly located full line Sears (and some additional Sears Hometowns). Congrats Sears, well done! Here's hoping to maybe 3 stores surviving into 2023 as well!
