I plan to leave early next year. I'm looking forward to it, of course, but I'm also a little sad when I remember that it used to be quite pleasant to work here. People used to be much more valued here. It seems to me that there are not many people here who remember the golden years of Emerson?

LK JF RK MB all need to go. They were part of establishment and changed nothing. Not fit to lead Emerson into future.
What was He-1?
Based on the 20 years I was with the company, the golden years for my division were in the early 2000s. The company spared no expense and we were treated in similar fashion to other high end companies. It’s all been downhill since then.
The last division I worked for had 7 years of extremely high profit margins. One of the highest in all Emerson. And we were lectured about how we couldn’t spend a dime on anything that could actually helps us be more productive. Meanwhile, the management went on a shopping spree of failed acquisitions worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Why would anyone want to work for a company like that.

They think they are experiencing them right now.
Like a boxer who stayed in the ring too long… they don’t know they are finished.
