Regional and corporate visits where we talk endlessly about grab and runs, increasingly aggressive shoplifters, and unruly customers. Plenty of lip service but no action. We are building a culture where Macy's is an easy target and the bad guys know it.

They will simply make up the shortage numbers

Everyday I see people loading up their bags, coats , suitcases etc and they walk right out the door. AP does nothing about it.
Other retailers arrest and prosecute shoplifters . Not Macy’s. For political reasons our CEO chooses to do nothing. He can “replace the inventory “ he was quoted numerous times in interviews.
Well Jeff get ready. Your day of reckoning is coming. I don’t think you can muster up enough BS to put a spin on massive inventory loss.
They can't do much. However how about locking up the men's underwear like the walmart paint section? Huge a-s problem in my store with packs upon packs getting open and colors/brands switched around
