Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Can we say for the leadership of UP

that they are greedier than the leadership of most other companies in America?

I can only say that they are greedier than the five companies I have worked for before, and it seems pretty clear to everyone that they are becoming even more so as time goes on. UP's biggest problem is just that, insatiable greed.

The leadership of UP including the board of directors, execs, and majority stockholders are very greedy no doubt. I can’t say they are more so than any other company. The trend of corporate downsizing started over 40 years ago and has affected millions of workers. If you don’t believe this, just do some research. The truth is no company in this day and time feels any loyalty to its workforce. There is an insatiable greed among the rich to become even richer. Whenever someone try’s to discuss this and take measures to even the playing field they are accused of being socialists, communists, or whatever the current buzzword is. It’s a fact that income inequality in this country is a huge issue and becoming larger each year. When one percent of the population controls ninety percent of the wealth, it’s a recipe for disaster. This has led to the demise of the middle class in this country and will lead to even more dire consequences if not addressed, and soon.
