Anyone hear about this $10, $20, $50 “Covid” payment mason is giving everyone for “all the hard work they’ve done over the pandemic and to help with any expenses they may have incurred”?
They should have just given everyone a free box of Shazam.

I’ll ignore your regurgitated corporate comments because you said “I’m fairly new”.
If you’ve worked for Mason for more than 6 months you would/should be livid. They literally give you the bare minimum for anything. Covid payments, 401k match, raises. Literally the only thing that’s good there is the healthcare.
I left Mason, on my own in Sept. unlike thousands of other employees, I “lucked out” but for some reason my new employer gave me and everyone a $500 covid bonus.
I’m not bragging but it shows, once you leave the Meehan Shadow of se-ual harassment/Class Actions, the better you are.
God speed to everyone that’s going to be furloughed when they sell to Staples in the next couple years.
what mason will get credit for is the 2500 people whom they let go. those people built mason into what it was pre pandemic .
they can also take credit for poaching and price gouging during the pandemic .

Honestly, i’m fairly new and I was grateful to receive the $50. If you think the money is too small, donate it to homeless shelter. Or, if you decide to keep it, that will buy dinner for you and your spouse. So stop complaining. Be Grateful they thought about you and sent you that. Let’s not hate, let’s appreciate. Mason is employing us today, give these people some credit. Happy holidays to all, and happy new year.

They did this last year as well. I believe this is with money from one of the stimulus plans. Yet they make it out like it’s a generous gesture from the owners. LOL!
