Great job Oxy on extending. It is much appreciated from this employee. I am so glad technology allows us to WFH, but don't forget the ones that still have to go into the office and work in the field. Many of those folks help us be able to WFH, so thanks to them.

They should deduct your wfh time for the bonus since you are not working full time.

Looks like March 1st now. Guess it will be after bonuses are paid out now. Mentioning since the previous poster was concerned about that for some reason...

Just push those bonus payments out further.

They should delay the bonus and LTI payments until this latest round of WFH is over plus 90 days. That will force people back to the office to work more before collecting their bounty.

@7vzu+1eqTcXg1 I took floating days and vacation if that is okay. I will get back to it Monday, but thanks for your input.

Employees are shareholders too and we're certainly not cheating ourselves. In fact, we care about the financial health of this company much more than you do because we have more skin in the game.

BTW, you have no leverage either way, so stop embarrassing yourself with these self-centered posts.

Is Oxy working this week or did they give employees the week off for free? The non-employee shareholders want to make sure they are not getting cheated by employees not working.

@jjt, you find the posts here as priceless entertainment? You should go to a movie sometime or listen to some music. Get out of the house and go to a HS football game. I’m not saying you might be boring, but…

We don't use Zoom, and if you still worked here you'd know that.

Try again.

The best part of WFH is how it enrages ex-employees who monitor this site 24-7.

Priceless entertainment!

WFH is great until they can figure out how we can live with Covid. Now that Covid goes through the vaccine another game plan needs to be put in place. They need to provide more testing to both vaccinated and un-vaccinated. People should be able to WFH the second they feel any symptoms without the fear of retaliation at the office. I have not seen any of that, but I know many come into work on days they might feel a little off health wise. People just need to stay home if they feel bad and not chance it period. I will WFH or in the office, but until Covid is controlled there is no reason to risk your health in the office. For me it is just a pure health reason and nothing else. I appreciate the company giving us the WFH option during this spike, but when we go back we really need to protect ourselves better, and not take any chances. I mean how many people wake up and take their temp before filling out the online check-in form. If I feel well I just get up and feel out the form and head into work.

As soon as covid goes away you will be back in the office 40 hours a week. You can work from home to your hearts content with the remaining time beyond 40 hours. Grow up slackers.

I feel like what you're talking about, all the posts on here... that is really just a smear campaign by the anti-WFH crowd. It's the same group posting the same cr-p to dozens of popular company threads here.
As for the people actually "obsessed" with it... there is no other option, now that we've had a taste. We don't bother posting any BS about it. It is what it is. We WFH now, we will continue to WFH tomorrow and into the foreseeable future. It doesn't matter what any particular company says about that in 2021. There are enough companies embracing the reality that we'll simply go somewhere else if there's a problem with it here. The companies rolling with the changes will be the ones getting all the talent. The rest of them can go under, for all I care. That's what generally happens to rigid, stuffy companies.

Whoever made the comment below must not be aware of the WFH email we got today.

Feb 1 will come pretty quickly. They should just make it June 1 and stop playing games with us.

Every 4 hours there is another WFH thread on this board. The people that are obsessed with WFH are the ones you definitely don't want working from home.
