It's becoming ridiculous how Citrix encourages people to leave on their own. Is it such a problem to give people severance pay, instead of trying to undervalue them in every way to make them resign on their own?
I applied to several companies, tested to see how marketable I was and it turned out that I could get a decent offer without much hassle. I've decided to stay and wait but I wonder how many of us will be able to survive these mind games in order to get our severance pay?

The OP is exactly the type of people that make up Citrix. Very odd logic
Undervalue employees so they can leave on their own when they don’t fit management’s personal agenda has been a game played at Citrix for years and encouraged from higher ups.
I got nearly double my pay at another company...severance isn't worth it. I also don't have anxiety of cuts
So you’d rather hold out at Citrix and suffer, so you can extract severance. Than take up a new job which, you say, are easy to get and, in this market, will pay you significantly more? Why? Just to spite Citrix? Sounds like it’s really you losing out in this situation.
Just cut loose and take the offer. You’ll make up for severance with the increased TC. And can’t put a price on improved mental wellness after you leave.
