@1ejf And obviously you are the expert with inside knowledge and information.
Obviously you know nothing about transition stores that SHO owns and then sells. The count listed are stores that SHO is operating because owners couldn’t make it and either walked or didn’t renew their contract.
I think the home town stores for sale are forsake by owner , not new franchises from Sears with them pocketing cash.
There are over 80 HTS for sale. The business model is broken and HTS should be ashamed for selling a broken business model. Pathetic.
Wondering why the media is so afraid of covering a story about how “owners” have been treated by an “iconic “ brand.
The more things don't change, the more they stay the same.
Please not pleas. I annoyingly correct spelling.
To the poster below the poster below. Here is some pseudo-intellectual douchbagary to hold you until the real deal weighs in. Spam and Eggs! (Moderators pleas feel free to do your jobs.) More Spam and Eggs!
I Know, buddy, I totally agree with you. You wrote an excellent point about speed limits. I lived in Montana. They eliminated them, for a while, in Montana, and you had reckless clowns driving 100 in school zones. People (with exceptions) will get away with, typically, what you let them. If you let people park in a no parking zone, they will do it. If you let people speed, they will do it. If you let people drive while impaired, some people will do it. That's why rules exist. As soon as Montana's speed limits were restored, and cops started handing out tickets again, the rate of accidents went down considerably.
Yes, the basement trolls are going to troll. Yes, Yogi Bear will keep taking pic-a-nic baskets, until Ranger Smith stops him. Boo-boo bear will Tell him "The ranger isn't going to like this, Yogi", but Yogi will keep doing it until Mr. Ranger makes him stop. I'm not mad at Yogi Bear. He's doing what bears do. I am, instead, annoyed with Ranger Smith for not doing HIS job and regulating the bears.
So where is Mr. Ranger to deal with Yogi? Where are the cops to deal with the speeders? There has to be some rule enforcement, or else people will make and enforce their own rules. Do you want Yogi to keep taking everyone's basket? Do you want Drunks to drive 100 MPH in school zones? Do we want people to post fake closings? The answer is NO to all 3!
So, in short, the mods have to enforce the rules. Come on Mr. Ranger. Tell Yogi what he can or can't do. Same with Boo-boo.
most of there mom and pop stores have lost 100's of thousand of dollars.
kind of a reality check for those self-anointed types that will protect the honor of Sears leadership in the name of journalistic integrity (lol) ... Merry Christmas and love to all!!
Not surprising. Sears doesn't give a cr*p about Hometown stores. They sell the franchise for big bucks.......then run and hide as the new owner loses their shirt. Pathetic.
