Nobody doubted the validity of this story, it’s just that some basement dweller recently posted it would be “sold” in January. Unless he’s the one buying it I have no idea what hat he pulled that information from.

It certainly isn't fake news. It originated in the suburban Chicago Daily Herald, which beat both the Sun-Times and Tribune to the story.
