All Sears and Kmart stores remaining will close permanently on Sunday, March 6th 2022. Liquidation sales for all stores will begin on Tuesday, January 4th 2022 and will run for approximately 60 days. Also, the Hoffman Estates, Illinois Headquarters will be sold sometime in Mid-January.

How do you know Hoffman Estates will be sold in mid-January? I’d like to see a link to your inside sources. I’ve only seen that TransformCo plans to put the property on the market in January. Why bother if it’s a done deal?
Guam and at least some USVI Kmarts will outlive my grandkids. We will never truly be rid of ALL Kmarts. 300 Years from now, someone will still be posting this garbage, yet Guam Kmart will still be open. Stateside Kmarts will probably close but never Guam.

It would shock me if they can unload the HQ in January, given that they haven't even listed it for sale yet.
