I just binge-watched Superstore and, boy, did they get it right! I'm not talking about the main characters and their storylines, I'm talking about those 5 to 10-second scenes in each episode that show what customers are doing when they think nobody is watching (or even when there are people watching them!) Sad thing is, most people who watched the show probably thought they were exaggerating for comedic effect, but those of us working at Macy's (and I'm sure other major retailers) know that 90% of it is true. How many of us have found dirty diapers in the middle of the store or watched as people simply discarded what they were looking at on the floor instead of back on the shelf? What others think is comedy is our sad reality.

I watch a customer buy stuff at 30 percent off come back with a coupon return the item to rebuy it at 30 percent off then use a 20 dollar coupon that takes another 20 bucks off the entire already discounted sale. I told this to AP and explain it and they didn't get what she was doing.. Unreal
Hmmmm?
Customers do strange things like trying to return soaking wet underwear as unused. Using the fitting rooms as restrooms or places to have "relations". Stealing clothing and putting condoms on sensors. Return clothing with stains in strange places. Switching tags on merchandise or removing sensors and putting them in "Go Back" pockets. Trying on underwear and trying to sneak out with 10 pairs under their pants. Eating in the store and putting their trash in the pockets of clothing. Return clothing that reeks of ma------a or worse. Fake coupons. Filling up luggage with unpaid merchandise and walking out the store. Fake returns. Fake returns with sewed on labels. Returning $20 shoes in a $200 shoe box. People "shooting up" in the fitting room. Homeless people swapping out their underwear (not paying) in the fitting room. People ringing up thousands of dollars of purchases with their "husband", "wife", "mom's card" and then when you ask for an ID they say it is in the car(they never come back and you have to put away all this stuff!). People trying to return things that have been out of production for decades.
