Every year, Staples provides gift cards (maybe $10 or $20 to various retailers) in the holiday card that they distribute. This year, the company policy is that there not be gift cards distributed and no company sponsored holiday meals. Broomfield office always provided a nice Christmas lunch for employees. Sure do miss that office; I’m sure others do as well.
How do you know the posters aren't looking for new jobs? You sound like one of those smug azz individuals in Staples management that thinks they will never tap your shoulder. Evidently you are interested in what people have to say since you are trolling this blog.
I laugh at all these posts…..if you are all that miserable, leave. It’s a great job market for those with skills in demand.
Maybe less time moaning and groaning will help
I find this funny.. How can a company like Staples write something like this when they DO NOT do any of this!! Practice what you preach!!!!!

2nd reply. I am peeing my pants. So true.
I have been with Staples for many years and NEVER received a Christmas card or holiday meal. We had to do a p-t luck to have our celebrations. It's a pathetic organization with pathetic owners. It's always been "what are you going to do for me today " from the SLT but never once has there been a genuine Thank you. We did receive a Staples lunch bag once. That was a complete insult. The postage costed more than the paper bag. LMAO 🤣
I was with Staples for 10 years and never received a holiday gift from the company...
