Insiders who orchestrated the layoffs are exercising options and dumping the stock.
assuming 50k per employee means you live in the US and don't know anything about the rest. in other countries, the severance was much lower due to lower salaries. on the other hand, don't forget about PJ and his "sped up vesting" and severance. he alone can easily be ~15% of the total amount.
The issues Citrix is suffering from are entirely on Henshall. Don’t be confused and never forget how this company spiraled into the abyss.
Talk about the depth of cuts are a bit overblown.
$90M set aside as a severance. Assuming 50K as the average severance per employee, calculate how many need to be let go to get to $90M. My estimate is 1500 employees were impacted if the numbers provided to shareholders, media and employees are correct.
The cuts were the largest in Citrix history.
Letting people go they just hired a couple months ago. Very pathetic.
Talk about the depth of cuts are a bit overblown. A few teams were hit hard, but for the vast majority there were only less than ten percent that were let go and there were several teams and departments not affected at all. The company is very large, very strong, and very capable. The velocity of innovative releases has noticeably increased over the last year and has not diminished with the layoffs.
Investors don’t want to put their money in unstable companies. Citrix cut too deep in the wrong areas and it will hurt their long term outlook.
Had seen something similar earlier: https://www.thelayoff.com/t/1cyvulIg. This was before Q3.
60 might be a little high for this stock.
After that Q4 earnings report comes out lol
Stock price? Age? Summer temperatures? Whatcha talkin about?
General incompetence of Citrix shows through even in the flame posts by its employees…
i mean we all feel 80 with the way Citrix be riding us lol
Did you mean "over 60 years old" ?
