Now I’m mad at myself for staying here too long... I’m doing everything in my power to find a new better job, but I’ve been stuck here for months now... I only got one offer which I had to turn down after learning some more details about that company and the workplace there. Many say that it is easier to find a job now than ever, but I just don't see it that way...

@1npu+1ekNOcQG good to hear there are easy to find roles out there. You're not the only one that I've heard bullying reports about other places. At least you know you can leave one organization and go elsewhere easily. I think that's the good thing about the market at the moment. So many roles out there begging to be filled
There are so many jobs out there right now, it is an employees market. I already turned down one offer because I did not want to go into an office and they came back with more money. No time like the present.
Found it very easy. A lot of roles out there and companies are desperate. I went to snowflake but left 2 months later because of bullying issues inside the company. But left on a Monday and by the end of the week had found another role.
Definitely your LinkedIn profile needs to be updated and needs to look super polished. Signing up for the LinkedIn Premium service was actually worth it. Also giving your resume a “face lift” seemed to help – You can buy a very contemporary-looking resume template online and trim older experiences (if you have many years of experience) so your resume looks “younger.” Just my 2 cents.
I' think it's really depending on the function/role. I know of many ex-TD friends who have found a much better role with some of the competitors with a significant pay raise. But I only know job market for pre-sales, enablement, marketing, GTM type of jobs, and I don't know anything about technical/engineering job market.
Fortunately, I managed to get multiple offers as well. Mine took 5 months with lots of 2nd and 3rd level interviews. Job search processes seem to take a long time (between 6 to 8 months) for many with very rigorous interview processes (6 to 10 interviews; assignments to do, etc.). So those of you who are just starting job search or thinking about starting... Get ready for a looooog marathon. Hope everyone will eventually find a happy (new) home.
I had to endure, no joke, about 200 interviews in one year to finally find the one job I actually wanted. Offers were 'this close', then fell through, it's very common right now. Suggestion: If you can afford it (benefits wise), look into short contracts through an agency (you can name your hourly rate), take that time to reboot, maybe learn something new and it'll give you a chance to get away from TD while you look for something full-time.
Same feelings. I didn't have to stay here for 15 years. Definitely had to quit 5 years ago when retail CEO came to managing a technology company. Nothing good happened at Teradata since that time. It was stupid for me to hold for this job and to reject offers from companies which now don't even reply to my job applications now.
Same thing, multiple interviews and no offers. The one offer that looks like it will come through in the next few days, I’m not sure I want it.
