Have any of you had the pronoun training and customer service. It will be part of our behavioral PA next year. No more calling someone Mr or Sir or Miss or ma'am. Customers will have the option in the app to change their pronoun. He him her. She me it and it's up to us to hover over that area on the screen to see what they prefer to be called. So if you're caught on a call calling someone sir or Mr or ma'am or Miss or she or him he will get knocked down. So no more. Is she available? How does she use her phone? How does he use his phone?..... Why are we catering to the 1%?

This isn’t “made up”. New York State requires companies like Verizon to allow customers to select their preferred pronouns. The training is to ensure compliance with state law.
Pretty rediculous imo. Some people have mental illness and believe they are a different gender than they are. If someone identifies as a dolphin am I supposed to address them as such? The list of pronouns is endless yet we only have the very basic of basic pronouns. I have a feeling people that refer to themselves as other pronouns will be upset by the limited options. So something Verizon is doing thinking that they are being socially sensitive is actually just going to be used against them for not being inclusive enough. Dummies.
It's sad that even if this was all made up, it's still totally believable. There have been some very strange training as of the last couple years.
I won't be. You are first name last name to me. Period.
