How did we get to the point where it's now one of the worst?

How did Boeing get here? This was well documented over 10 years ago. Google "Bob Bogash Not Acceptable".
They won't cuz they know Boeing is the best job they'll ever get. There is no place in aerospace sector quite as good as Boeing.
How about you stop whining on websites and quit? That’s what i thought. Go try to make 45hr installing seats somewhere else lol.
Dave Calhoun needs to go. Look what he did too Nielsen and what his methods finally did to GE.
Too late to get back to the old glory days of the original 777...
The only game being played is the blame game by leadership and the mgmt org.
Look at how former ceo blamed the max on someone else, then we blamed our suppliers for not managing the integration during 787 development, now we blame and beat on suppliers for the 777x which has now delayed 3 years and not ending soon. We are still tweaking the ICD for goodness sake. Kinda late you think
This shows the lack of experience here. We lost a lot during the endcof 777 with a massive brain drain and never recover from that. Probably will not ever now as we got so good at the blame game, instead of figuring out how to design, integrate and build quality planes
May be B should switch to making toy planes, safer that way...
Not a very enjoyable atmosphere when you are routinely threatened with being laid off. And that was during the bo-m of the last several years.
I realize my spelling is not always right but that is not the subject here. So if you cheesball mongers can excuss that part read on. It started going bad when they merged with a failing Mcdonald Douglas and letting there failings become part of the company, it got worse when they moved corporate headquarters out of state quietly overnight. There was no protection in the leadership to filter out Psycopaths who contaminated the upper levels, they took away Christmas bonuses, and pensions, stole from the pension fund and let the Idea guys put stupid programs into place. Diversity is part of human intervention and so is caring and Boeing would have been better off if they focused more in Caring and less in diversity. When is it good or more productive if you put a group of people who are so far apart or diferant compared to a group that close knitted family like. The Butcher, The Baker, and The Candle Stick Maker, one is a convict, the other a Christion, the other a mother full of tattoos all working togather building the most sophisticated flying machines. There a lot more to it but this is enough. Thanks
Lack of leadership. Boeing is just the latest in a long line of American companies which lost their way from lack of vision and innovation. Unfortunately, it won't be the the people responsible who will end up paying for it.
Leadership k!lled 346, unforgettable tragedy. The pride people once had is gone forever like lives gone forever.
And can we go back to the Boeing of old?
