Thread regarding Raymond James Financial Inc. layoffs

Trading Fees

Despite the likes of almost every other firm out there charging either $0, or worst case scenario $5 per trade, RJ charges it's employees $25 per trade. I recall Paul being asked about this in multiple forums, and his answer was always, "Well we can't let our associates pay less than our clients." This is the definition of BS. I am a trustee over several accounts with RJ, and trades cost less than $6. Just another example of how RJ screws its employees on a daily basis.

PS - Don't you love how you are bullied into giving for United Way (so RJ can take credit) at the exact same time you receive your bonus payout?

This is funny that Raymond James is still up to the same tactics they were several years ago. Charging employees for trades discourages employees from trading and it also pads the pocket of the company. This is why they charge employees for trades. They do not want employees doing anything during work hours except working and also they do not want anyone to make any money from trading. It keeps people working for them.

Raymond James is a toxic environment run by soulless people that have only one goal and that is to enrich themselves. Get out while you can.

What a ridiculous stance. Keep it up. Better companies do it better, and your employees will get tired of it soon enough.

Regarding the charity, they can bully all they want. I give to the charities I choose, when I choose, and exactly how much I choose to give.
