Wow, what a horrible introduction. The female version of NC. Has no context but has an opinion on how bad we suck. Treats the team like id--ts out of the gate. This should be fun.

I know the team she's inheriting. OP - the COE treats us (other departments) like we're id--ts, even knows more than the SME's. I bet she met with external folks and got their impressions of working with that team. Get ready, she's about to clean house!
Agreed. Was on a group call with her. All I heard was her "posturing", no productivity.
This attitude is coming from the top. New hires are indoctrinated by KCC and SM with the message that TD is a mess and needs saving, no need to build on any foundation
" Has no context but has an opinion on how bad we suck."
"And someone humble enough to take a few weeks to get their feet wet before criticizing everything one."
" I was shocked by her tone."
This is a new type of marketing of which I have no familiarity. I thought marketing trashed the competition and elevated their own company, not vice versa. I could only surmise that IBM paid here to take the TD job.
Darn I missed it! Was there an all hands for just marketing or something? I don’t recall seeing anything on my calendar
Was anyone expecting anything else from a diversity hire? She’s already feeling defensive knowing why she was hired. This will be fun to watch.
Teradata Marketing is like Military Intelligence or Jumbo Shrimp. LOL
PSW who leads Product Marketing is not any better. She is very condescending to the current team. It’s obvious they want to clean house. Good luck to them. I’ve got two offers so I’ll be checking out of the crazy house soon. Happy holidays
So demoralizing. Is it too much to ask for an inspirational leader? And someone humble enough to take a few weeks to get their feet wet before criticizing everything one. Looks like yet another bad hire on the ELT.
The women of marketing are sharpening their claws as we speak.
I agree. I was shocked by her tone. She will be in for a rude awakening when she finds that Teradata could really care less about Marketing. The only way M.e. funded the brand update was by laying off a bunch of employees to pay for it. Where do we find these pompous self-absorbed so called executives? I’m updating my resume now…
