I was relatively comfortable here. Although there were stressful situations, I was never overwhelmed with so much work that I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, I was satisfied with how much I was paid, etc. What made me quit was the leadership and the management. I absolutely do not want to work in a company where leadership and management have such a PARASITIC relationship with employees who actually do all the work. I don't think there are many companies with worse leadership and worse management than here?

@mel+1eiWP4ZD Is in denial. There are many companies who have excellent management and are winning in the market. You are just justifying settling for a mediocre dying company with poor management to make yourself feel better for staying. Sure there are challenges in all jobs, but TDC is one messed up place with turmoil at the ELT level every quarter.
Moving on is a great idea for you. I can't think of any other company that has poor management/leadership. If fact, 99.9% of companies with main offices feature unicorns and rainbows in the lobby.
But seriously, wherever you go, once the honeymoon is over, you will have the same complaints. Careful jumping from the frying pan into the fire.
I actually applaud this person for moving on. Life is too short to work for a cr---y company. More people at Teradata should stop complaining and just leave. Your cheese was moved…..to other healthy companies. Go down the maze and find it.
Huh? Care to elaborate on parasitic? This smells like a millennial post.. (my apologies to non-entitled millennials because what I really mean is this guy/gal has ALL of the tell tale signs of entitlement are ALL OVER THIS POST). Did they (parasitic mgmt) actually make you do work or hit deadlines and give you sh-t when you didn’t deliver? I think I have the worlds smallest violin if you want to hear it???
