Been extended an offer. But I hear the owners are one of a kind. Please advice before I accept. Having second thoughts about this place.

if your still undecided about working for mason, do the following:
google “ wb mason lawsuits”. if the harassment and wage issues aren’t enough, continue to the class action suit for passing off counterfeit 3M masks as the real thing , and for price gouging during the height of the covid 19. All true!!!
No ethics or morals whatsoever!
very very dishonest company .
fwb
Don't do it. It's a bad company and they will overwork you, then fire you for someone cheaper eventually.
More likely they'll just keep a few people on staff and give them more and more work to do.
Run away!!!!!!!
RUN.....RUN...... RUN..... read these threads... Sure it could be people that are jaded.... but where there's smoke... there's fire.
The only jobs I’ve seen posted are warehouse, call center, AR, and AX or coding things. If you’re AR, get ready to feel like you’re collecting CC debt because most of the people you’re calling are being billed for orders they haven’t received yet.
If you’re some AX/Microsoft coder, I honestly don’t know what your experience would be like. You’ll defiantly be paid 20%-30% under what you could get elsewhere but it’s good expierence for the resume.
In all honestly, I’d take the job and keep applying. Something will come up and you can use your time at W.B as a reference.
In any account, if this is real, best of luck. Stay away from any corporate J/O because they loooovvveeee giving it to the new people.
did you go to stonehill?
corporate as a what? curious to see what positions they are filling .
there used to be some very good people in brockton ( not sure whos still left) but a lot of snakes.
the COO ( i think that’s his title ) is that quote from animal house — “ fat , drunk , and stupid “ and his management style up there has always been “ management by intimidation”.
positives : the benefits plan is very good , at least it used to be.
Corporate, not Warehouse or call ctr
I’d assume this is either a warehouse position or call center position. In both cases you’ll be over worked and underpaid. Also as the new person, you’ll get a lot of the jobs no one else wants to do.
There are better positions out there but if you’re in need of a job it’s a decent starting point. Just know you’re just a number and you’ll get Cut at any moment.
what position are you offered? and what location? i can certainly give you some insider advice based on your answers
well, its a paycheck
but you'll probably regret it
