I'm curious, what does a manager need to do to get reprimanded at Dell, not to mention let go? I can tell you they can treat their direct reports like cr-p, including being verbally abusive towards them, and foster a toxic work environment and suffer no consequences. This is even when more than one person has complained about them through official channels. So what does it take?

It is very stressful to work at Dell. But if you develop a thick skin it will make it worse. The takeaway is that working at Dell is draining and very hard.
Actually people can’t just say anything to others. Demeaning and false statements can be used as civil suits against the people exhibiting these bad behaviors. The next time this occurs record the comments as and the people on the call. Then contact a large law firm for guidance. I promise that manager will shut up fast.
You do realize that the purpose of the HR department is to protect the company. When it comes to management or you, the company will pick and protect management.
DELL is irrelevant company, this is the reason why such things are abundant there. if you care about your well being do not stay
I’d love to know the same. My toxic manager got such a low Tell Dell score that my broader team decided to just not talk about it when it was time for the usual annual canned and insincere score readouts and reviews. They literally commented that my manager’s score was so low that it must’ve been some sort of error and just hid it from us with no feedback session whatsoever. This horrible, low-scoring manager was punished with a promotion to director. Does Dell really have to just sit and wait until the trash takes itself out?
