Certainly in europe 31st december is the last day on payroll for many who either elected for svs or were unfortunately reshaped out. What shell ppl need to understand is your mgrs and so-called big bananas don’t represent shell. If they did your HQ would still be in The Hague. Shareholders are the top dogs (not the board or the CEO) and in this debate they didn’t like the tax liability so they moved the HQ to London.

She’ll won’t appreciate anyone - they are a legal entity only, not a conscience. The owners of the company (mainly institutional shareholders) don’t know any employee from Adam so couldn’t care less who goes and who stays.. Their principal interest is investment return. The people who are getting rid of you are your colleagues and they would stick a kn--e in you just as soon as you turn your back. So goodbye and good riddance.
