Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Citrix lied about Wrike to Wall Street

In Citrix's Q2 earnings letter to investors on July 29th 2021 in a section titled "Wrike Update" Citrix reported the following:

"We are pleased to report the [Wrike] integration is progressing well, and the business continues to perform with accelerating growth, as expected."

Anyone who worked at Citrix from the time Wrike was acquired to July 29th knows this statement to be unequivocally false. Citrix reps weren't selling Wrike, or even building Wrike pipeline. Wrike was being kept afloat (barely) by whichever Wrike employees stayed post-acquisition.

On the heels of dozens of securities fraud lawsuits accusing Citrix of misleading investors about the success of the Citrix Cloud transition, it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Citrix reps will only focus on those products with which they make their quota. For many years it has been enough for them to sell XenApp / Desktop. Netscaler is a clear example; a good product but for which nobody lifts a finger from sales. For this reason, the channel does not trust in the Networking area. F5 sweeps and Cirix doesn't even see the Networking projects. ADC's marketshare is probably made up by the Access Gateway.
