Actually, I said exactly that and retired in June. My boss offered me more money, fewer hours, and a big chunk of restricted stock. I said no and explained to him "I have enough money. Why would I hang around for more than enough money?"

Probably a non-IBMer considering joing IBM and checking to see if he has a chance to make 250K.... So dude NO, the likelihood you will make that at IBM is about zero unless you are willing to wear brown lipstick.
