I'm not getting it. My body my choice. Everyone who gets these jabs calls out feeling like death and who knows the long-term issues. On the other hands...after taking advantage of this hot market, I got an amazing offer for a fully remote job at a MASSIVE pay increase. Can't wait to give notice the second I'm back in the office!!

They threatened us and I got scared and shamed to get the shot on-site clinic at my office. I was sick for over a week and still not the same! I will never forgive them and now they want me to get it again?

I love the HR trolls on this thread, trying to convince us it's in our interest to leave over these mandates. As expected.. this has nothing to do with public health. It's just about using the law to achieve avoid messy and expensive severances.

If you want us to leave mate.. your gonna have to do it the old fashioned way. By paying out our full entitlements!

That’s a great bootlicking response wow!

What happens when every other company tries to mandate this bs even the remote companies. It’s unprecedented.

Enough!

People seem to be "too intelligent" to be here. Any company quoted in the stock market will always state "as applicable by local laws".

If you are tired to be where you are, do a favour to your self and quit. There are many other companies to work for. Or you can even create your own.

I would move for something that would suite me the most, until then I accept the conditions. Trolling is a waste of time.

I'm really not sure what to think about this company anymore. At first I was kind of pleased by their lack of much HR presence and at least an appearance of valuing engineering. But that has all but disappeared. What we really have is a small buy amazingly incompetent HR that is basically a lackey to the crazy CEO. I offer this to all AppNeta employees. RUN!!!! Run while you still can.

I got the vax voluntarily as soon as it came out, but mandating boosters... this is way over the line.

If I boost or not is a decision between my and my physician, what the f** does Broadcom's management know about my health?

The only reason I didn't quit is because that is obviously what HR want us to do.

I'm not going to let them get away with this...

So my plan is to take their booster, and do the bare minimum required pick up my paycheck.

Funny thing is.. I was a top performer before all covid nonsense started...

Congratulations management.. you just shot yourselves in the foot bigtime!

The big score is going to be wrongful termination, unless Title 21 U.S.C. 360bbb-3(e)(1)(A)(ii)(III) is dead letter.

What about states like Texas that do not allow any mandates?

Everyone else seems to be mandating the jab and they won't stop at boosters unless its easy to get exemptions at those places. HR here asks extremely personal questions that are TMI.. some stuff is personal and they go to far. Do they care? NO. Only 9 days 'til the last vesting a few more after that for a juicy bonus!

The imperial CEO is about to find the limits of his power. Bad move amidst the current job market to mandate a booster that doesn't work against the new variant.

Also hear they are requiring booster seats and rockets next :-) The only question remains is if they require it every 6 months or so.
