Wael will get Ben's job when he retires
BvB will be replaced by a woman. The Chairman and Board have made that clear. While EB wouldn’t have been in the running for CEO, she certainly was overlooked for the Director role. The company is fueled by bureaucracy, favoritism, and politics - rarely merit. At all levels, clearly.
The question is when does the incompetent BVB get the boot?
Ben Van Beurden is going to turn 64 shortly, perhaps she joins Maarten Wetselaar as people that didn't get picked to replace BVB.
