After all the complaints about a labor shortage they cut just about everyone’s hours at my store. Full timers are down to 34 hours and absolutely no overtime is allowed. A supervisor said it’s because sales throughout the entire company hit rock bottom but that sounds like bs. Anyone else experiencing this?

I’m glad I retired. A once class Act company back 2000 was amazing ! It has become nothing but a bad environment, toxic and no one wants to work there anymore!
Maybe cut back on the Personnel (HR) Dept. Can't seem to hire when we need them, and now the cutbacks. They are full-time why?
Sales are always down this time of year.
We haven't seen that kind of cuts. But we are barely covering the departments
Money saving. Also, good way to increase turnover except nobody will be hired to replace the ones who find another place to work.
Same thing happened at Sears and look what happened there.
