I work for said company in leadership and they did in fact hire during the hiring freeze. Most of them are gone

Plenty of people can be hired during a “hiring freeze” at Conduent. Let’s not act like the company is coordinated in any way shape or form.

As the wise man previously said, Conduent uses “hiring freezes” to make current folks do more work with less folks.

In this case. A “hiring freeze” would appear to be a means for silencing managers who’s teams are over tasked and prevent them from getting resources. Even during a “freeze” there is always hiring justified as
“backfills”. So the thought that a “freeze” prevents the OPs statement from being accurate is, itself, inaccurate.

BS. Conduent had hiring freeze since November. No way there were "whole bunch of people were hired in December". I don't like company as much as another persons but lets keep our facts straight.

It was likely due to a New Exec being hired in January. They made cuts to lower levels to fund the executive. I am 100% sure this new executive will work closely with Cliff and the Brothers King to make Conduent profitable and proud !!!! I believe in them all!!!
